New Patients

Thank you for your interest in becoming a new patient at Bellevue Acne Clinic. We look forward to taking care of your skin. 

There are several ways to schedule a new-patient-intake. Please choose one of the following:

1.  Go online to our convenient online scheduler. Here, you will answer a few questions and can schedule your appointments right away.    

2. Send a text/SMS to 425-835-3394. Include your name and your desired appointment time.  

3.  Send an email to [email protected]. Include your name and your desired appointment time.  

4.  Call our main number 425-835-3394. Our intake coordinator will return your call to set up your two-part intake.

 

A few notes about new patient appointments:

1.  New patients are required to schedule two appointments as part of our two-part intake process. The second appointment will be approximately two weeks after the first appointment. 

2. Saturday appointments ARE NOT available for intake-part-1 appointments. 

3.  Saturday appointments ARE available for intake-part-2 appointments and all other appointments. 

Intake Forms

Your intake forms will be emailed to you one day prior to your appointment. At that time we will also confirm your insurance benefits (if you requested that service). Our intake paperwork is rather minimal, as our medical director prefers to discuss your acne face-to-face. 

What to expect as a new patient

Our comprehensive intake process is unique to Bellevue Acne Clinic. During your two-part intake, our medical director will carefully evaluate your acne from every conceivable angle. The etiology of your acne will be explored and explained. Multiple treatment plans will be considered, all at varying degrees of aggression, complexity, expense, safety, and expected trajectory of results.

When you schedule your Intake-Part-1 appointment, please schedule Intake-Part-2 as well. The optimal interval between intake appointments is 10-14 days. (The interval may be as few as 7 and as many as 21 days.)

Intake-Part-1 (35 minutes)

Arrive just a few minutes early. Present your completed welcome packet, insurance card (if applicable) and photo ID. Arrive with clean skin if possible (however, makeup remover is available in the office). ‘Before’ photos will be taken. Your skin will be examined under microscopy. After a detailed conversation, Mr. Jellerichs will prepare a typed, personalized treatment plan that outlines everything discussed at this visit. You may be asked to do some reading between visits to help guide your treatment decisions. You will receive a shopping list and treatment instructions for the first week.

Intake-Part-2 (25 minutes)

Your skin will again be evaluated under microscopy. Mr. Jellerichs will evaluate your initial response to the changes recommended at your first visit. Any questions that arose in the interval shall be addressed. A treatment plan will be finalized. You will leave our clinic motivated and excited about your journey to clear skin!

Future visits / Follow-up visits (15 minutes)

The schedule for follow-up visits varies considerably. This will be discussed in further detail at your 2nd visit.
